Professional Language Solutions
Our Services
Some translation companies in India will send back a file and call it done. We send back something you can actually use — in court, at an embassy, with a client, or on a global platform. There’s a difference, and we’ve spent ten years making sure people feel it.
About This Service
Most translation mistakes don’t look like mistakes at first — the problem shows up when a consulate rejects it or a client notices something’s off.
At Elephanta, every project goes through Translation, Editing, and Proofreading — handled by three separate linguists, not one person reviewing their own work.
We cover 100+ languages, and every translator is matched by subject — legal, medical, technical, financial, academic.
Specializations
We don’t do everything the same way. Each type of content has its own requirements, its own terminology, and its own consequences when something goes wrong. Here’s how we handle each.
Legal documents are unforgiving. A contract with an ambiguous phrase. An immigration paper with a term that doesn’t carry across properly. An affidavit that’s technically translated but formatted in a way the court won’t accept. These aren’t hypothetical problems — they’re the exact things our legal translators are trained to watch for.
We handle contracts, court orders, affidavits, patents, immigration papers, regulatory filings, and power of attorney documents. Our legal translators have backgrounds in law — not just language — and our certified translation services for legal content come with the proper documentation that courts and authorities require.
Medical content carries a level of responsibility that most other translation work doesn’t. A mistranslated dosage, a clinical term that shifts meaning in another language, a patient consent form that doesn’t reflect the original intent — these have real consequences for real people.
Our medical translators are professionals with clinical or pharmaceutical backgrounds. We handle patient records, discharge summaries, clinical trial documentation, pharmaceutical filings, medical device manuals, and research content. Confidentiality is treated seriously here — not just as a checkbox but as a genuine process requirement on every medical file we receive.
Your annual report is going to investors in three different countries. Your business proposal needs to land with a client in Japan. Your financial statements have to meet regulatory standards in a market you’re entering for the first time. Each of these has specific language requirements and specific readers who will notice if something is off.
We translate annual reports, investor documents, financial statements, business proposals, board meeting materials, and marketing collateral for global markets. The goal is always the same — your content should read as well in the target language as it does in English, without losing any of the precision the original was written with.
Technical translation is one area where general language skills genuinely aren’t enough. Engineering documentation, IT manuals, software specs, scientific research papers, product guides — these are full of terminology that has specific meaning within a specific industry. Translate the words without understanding the context and you get something that sounds plausible but is technically wrong.
Our technical translators come from engineering, IT, and scientific backgrounds. They know what the source document is describing before they begin translating it, which means the output is accurate not just linguistically but technically. For any company launching products internationally or managing global technical documentation, that’s not a small thing.
Academic translation has its own standards — formatting expectations, referencing conventions, the particular formality that different institutions and countries expect. A research paper translated for an international journal needs to read like it was written in the target language, not like it was moved across from somewhere else.
We handle dissertations, research papers, academic transcripts, degree certificates, and application materials for universities and educational institutions. Our certified translations of academic documents are accepted by universities, educational boards, and immigration authorities across multiple countries.
This one gets underestimated more than any other. Companies spend months getting their website copy right in English — the tone, the flow, the way it speaks to the right audience — and then hand it off for translation expecting the same result. Direct translation of marketing content almost never produces it.
What you actually need is content that works in the target language, which is a different skill. Our team adapts website content, ad campaigns, product descriptions, brochures, and brand messaging for the market you’re entering — keeping the intent and the tone intact, adjusting whatever needs to be adjusted so it resonates with a local audience rather than reading like something imported.

FAQs
Pretty much everything. Legal contracts, court documents, immigration papers, medical records, clinical trial files, engineering manuals, annual reports, academic certificates, birth and marriage certificates, product content, website copy — if it’s a document and it needs to be in another language, we’ve probably handled something like it. If you’re unsure whether we cover your specific type, just send us a message and we’ll tell you directly.
Yes. Our certified translation services come with the proper attestation, format, and accompanying documentation that official bodies require. We’ve handled certified translations for embassies, immigration authorities, courts, universities, and government agencies across multiple countries. Notarization is also available where required. If you’re submitting to a specific authority and want to confirm what format they need, we can help you figure that out before we begin.
For standard documents up to 5,000 words, we typically deliver within 24 to 48 hours. Larger projects are quoted individually based on volume, language pair, and complexity. We also offer express turnaround for time-sensitive work — but we scope it honestly. If something genuinely can’t be done in 24 hours without compromising quality, we’ll tell you that upfront rather than promise it and then underdeliver.
Every project goes through our TEP process — Translation, Editing, and Proofreading — handled by three separate linguists in sequence. We also use translation memory tools and project-specific glossaries for consistency across large or ongoing work. The short version: multiple people check every document before it goes out, and they’re not checking each other’s work casually — they’re reviewing it seriously at each stage.
100+ languages, including all major European, Asian, and Middle Eastern languages, and a full range of Indian regional languages. For rare language pairs, availability depends on the specific combination — contact us and we’ll confirm what we have for your project.
Send it over and we’ll come back to you with a straight answer — what it’ll cost, how long it’ll take, and who’ll be handling it. No automated response, no vague estimate. Just the information you need to make a decision.
